  • Incomplete application forms will be rejected
  • This course is for people who would like to gain more knowledge about how to appreciate theatre.
  • The course contains discussions on various aspects of theatre-making and theatre-watching. This course does not contain any practical classes or workshops on theatre.
  • Selection is done on the basis of this form only. Please fill this form carefully.
  • Only the selected candidates will be informed by phone and email few days before the course begins. The Selection Committee’s decision will be final.
  • You are not eligible to apply for this course if you have attended the course before.
  • You need be minimum 18years of age to apply for the course.
  • You need to be an Indian national and be living in India to apply for this course.
  • You need to have a working knowledge of Hindi and/or English
  • If selected, you will be required to attend the course regularly. Absenteeism may lead to discontinuation of your participation.
  • Selected candidates are required to pay registration fees of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) which is to be deposited online, failing which their seat will be offered to other candidates on the waiting list. Out-station candidates may also apply. No accommodation, TA/DA is provided to the participants. Those who have successfully completed the course before will not be considered.
  • Candidates will be required to attend the course in-person on NSD campus on all days. NSD reserves the right to ask you to discontinue the course should your attendance fall short.
